Basingstoke expanded enormously from the 1960s under the town development agreements, and the housing shows it. Large planned estates from the sixties and seventies, further waves through the eighties and nineties, and continuing development at Chineham, Beggarwood and Manydown.
For solar that means a lot of predictable, workable roofs, and a smaller older core around the town centre and the surrounding villages where things are less uniform.
